DigitalGP is recommending to all clients that they uninstall TeamViewer from their systems until more information about recent allegations of account penetration is forthcoming.

A number of users have claimed that their accounts have been hacked and funds removed from their PayPal balances. TeamViewer spokespersons have provided some assurance that their program is safe however, these assurances do not completely address concerns of security professionals.

DigitalGP has found TeamViewer to be a reliable, user-friendly, third-party remote support program in the past and looks forward to being able to use it again in the future.
